Entry is limited to once per day and the clear to once per month, so a failed attempt is rerun on a later day at no charge. If we cannot clear before your monthly window closes, that run is refunded in full.

Can a party of six all get loot?

Loot depends on each player's damage across all four phases. In a carry party we plan the carrier count around your damage so you stay eligible; other buyers in the same party are quoted separately.

difficulty and how the quote works

Black Mage is the one menu boss with a from-price because the run cost depends on who is in the party. Tell us your class, level, Arcane Force and whether you already hold the Fragment of Destiny. If your damage is low we plan more carriers, and the quote rises; if you can hold your own in a phase or two it drops toward $50. The number is agreed in the ticket before anything is paid.

loot eligibility on black mage

The loot rule counts your damage across all four phases against the boss's total HP, so a strong phase one does not carry you through phase four. We watch your Battle Analysis at each phase and pace the kill until you are over the line. Genesis unlock only needs the clear, not loot eligibility, but you want the drop too. chase drops, confirmed

Genesis Badge: Listed by Nexon among rare boss reward items that play a drop effect (Ride or Die notes, Nov 2024). It is the Black Mage chase item; a per-clear chance, never guaranteed.

The Genesis weapon itself comes from the Genesis quest line after the clear, not as a drop.

what you do during the run

Stay alive through the phase transitions and keep hitting the boss so your damage share stays honest. We call the mechanics on voice or text, tell you when to hold, and where to stand for the laser and the phase four field. If you die out, the run can still clear, but your loot eligibility depends on the damage you dealt before that.

scheduling

Because the clear is once per month per character, we book Black Mage for a specific day and hold the slot. Reset-week evenings are busiest; tell us your timezone and two possible windows. If we cannot clear on the agreed attempt, the rerun policy applies.
